I’m not quite sure how to feel right now! I’m shook, I’m shocked, I’m sitting here with my mouth open and no words can express what I’m feeling, I think that’s a good thing though! Gone was that dragging feeling and repetitive quality! Instead, it was replaced by epic intrigue, breathtaking suspense and the sexiest romance ever! Not to forget the absolute sweetness as well! Suffice to say, TMAHA Part Two blew my mind a little 😉 Fortunately, by the time I reached about 25% of the book, it started to become so much more interesting.
Let me explain! At the beginning of this book, I was feeling the same vibe as I was in book 1 regarding the slow repetitiveness and I was genuinely worried that I wouldn’t like it. I was still a little iffy about the repetitiveness and slowness like in Part One, but it quickly took a turn around! The characters continued to steal my heart, the writing was great and the romance was beyond perfect! This book was so suspenseful and satisfying and after a cliffhanger like that, there is no way I can resist picking up the next book! The Mafia and His Angel Part Two was a great continuation. Lylah James is quickly proving why she should be one of your top favorite authors! Boy does she know how to suck you in and leave you hanging in the best possible way! I liked Part One, but I loved Part Two and I can’t imagine how I’ll feel about Part Three. With secrets building up and danger lurking close by, will these two be able to hold onto their relationship or will they be ripped apart? The Mafia and His Angel Part Two is the continuation of Ayla and Alessio’s story and it must be read after part one! Ayla and Alessio are finally starting to let themselves fall.
